Inspiration has no need for brushes. It was 1803 when Mr Edward, an eccentric London baker, looked at sailors’ crackers and saw buttery and milk-rich biscuits which would make tea-time an even more delicious occasion from there on.

In 1920 Orlando Grondona rewrites Mr Edward’s recipe with his quality rules and inserts it into the small black notebook of good things. Since then the Galletta has become an indispensable ingredient of breakfast in Italy too. In Grondona's crackers there is the rich and full flavour of milk, pure butter and selected flours. A pret-à-porter sweetness thanks to the single portions chosen to let you indulge in sudden as well as healthy whims of delicacy.

Since 1920, Orlando Grondona and family have been producing Genovese biscuits according to traditional housewives' recipes. By carefully using the finest ingredients - Manitoba flour (rich in gluten and protein for a fuller taste), Italian mother yeast to vanilla beans from Madagascar – the taste is as refined as the beautiful packaging.
