Prosciutto di Parma or Parma ham is a dry-cured ham that is usually served thinly sliced and served uncooked. It is considered a gourmet product - only Landrance or Duroc breeds are used - with each leg fire-stamped with 'PARMA' to signify that it has successfully met the exacting standards. The animals enjoy a diet rich in Parmigiano Reggiano whey and cereal grains which leads to a sweet yet nutty flavour.
We sell our prosciutto as whole legs on the bone so you can easily set it up in your kitchen on a prosciutto stand and use a carpaccio knife to slice.
