Tortelloni are a delicious filled pasta, larger than the typical bite-sized tortellinis found in supermarkets. You can choose from a variety of delicious fillings to suit any occasion, with options to include a squid ink or beetroot stripe to really make a statement.
Originally from Bologna, legend has it that when the goddess Venus stayed in a tavern on the outskirts of the city, the innkeeper spied on her through the keyhole of her room, but could catch only a glimpse of her belly button region. Mystified by this vision, the innkeeper shaped fresh egg pasta into the navel-sized tortelloni.
Cook in salted, boiling water for 2-4 minutes
Keep refrigerated between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius
