Tubetti lisci (small smooth tubes) originate from the Campania region and belong to the very short dried pasta family. Tubetti lisci make very good legume soups, such as bean or lentil or broth soups. They are also excellent for delicate dried pasta dishes with light tomato and basil sauces.
De Cecco was founded in 1886 by the De Cecco brothers in the Abruzzo region of Italy. They pioneered a low temperature drying method for pasta which increased the consistency and quality of dry pasta, and are now one of Italy's most popular pasta brands.
