Awarded a DOC classification in 1967, the small area of Mount Conero, south-west of Ancona offers perfect conditions for full-bodied red wines of exceptional value.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red in colour with some feint violet reflections, this is a fine example of Rosso Conero. Packed full of wild cherry, marasca cherry and plum jam aromas, a lovely elegant bouquet of Mediterranean herbs and spice is also evident on the nose. The palate is powerful yet well-balanced, dry and full-bodied with plenty of soft ripe fruit and a long vanilla finish.
