Conti Formentini’s wine making history goes back to the early sixteenth century, yet it looks ahead and strives to marry tradition with innovation by making wines with a great regional typicity (without blending of grape varieties) but with a clean contemporary and modern style. Conti Formentini Ribolla Gialla is made from 100% Cabernet Franc gown in the hills with the best exposure at an altitude of 200 in the commune of San Floriano del Collio.
Tasting Notes: The Ribolla has a full yellow gold color with greenish hues. On the nose it has an intense and delicate perfume of acacia flowers, with hints of lime and chestnut leaves, and undergrowth. On the palate it is dry, with savory and fresh flavor with a distinct citric vein and an attractive quite persistent white plum taste.
