Bocconi di Bufala are small balls of Mozzarella, ideal for salads or as antipasti.
Mozzarella di bufala is a fresh, handmade cheese, originally from southern Italy. It is made with buffalo's milk by the 'pasta filata' method - the term is used for several kinds of Italian cheeses that are made using spinning and then cutting hence the name, as the Italian verb mozzare means "to cut".
La Contadina was founded in 1950 as a company dedicated exclusively to the breeding buffalo, based in Borgo Appius, between the towns of Capua, Mondragone and Aversa, native places for Mozzarella from the beginning of the century.
Pack contains 5 balls of 50g each.
