Aperol is bright orange in colour and has a unique taste. It has infusions of selected ingredients, including bitter and sweet oranges and many other herbs (including rhubarb) and roots. Aperol tastes and smells much like Campari, however Aperol is milder and less bitter. It is also much lighter than Campari in colour. Aperol is mainly used to make a Spritz aperitif - Aperol mixed with prosecco.
