Fontal Igor is a semi-hard Italian cheese made from pasteurised cow’s milk, known for its smooth texture, pale yellow colour, and sweet, nutty flavour. Aged for several weeks, it has a delicate taste and excellent meltability, making it perfect for cooking, slicing, or enjoying on a cheese platter.
Thanks to its mild profile and creamy consistency, Fontal is ideal for sandwiches, gratins, pasta bakes, or melted in panini and pizzas. Its rind is thin and edible, and the paste is elastic and easy to cut.
