Farfalle belong to the short pasta range from Barilla. They are born from a sheet of pasta cut into squares and "pinched" in the centre to create a bow tie ("farfallino") effect. They have a delicate surface and a different consistency between the thicker centre and the two ends. They are prepared using only the best durum wheat and water. Their texture can enhance the flavours of every sauce.
