Embark on a journey through the storied vineyards of Barolo with Marchesi di Barolo's exclusive cuvée. Grapes from the revered "Crus Storici" vineyards in the Municipality of Barolo, nestled on gently sloping hills, contribute exclusively to this Barolo's unique character. The clayey limestone soils, interspersed with layers of grey sandstone and quartz sands, impart mineral salts and trace elements, enriching the structure of the Nebbiolo grape. Meanwhile, loose sands and silt bestow fragrant and spicy aromas, creating a harmonious synthesis that epitomizes the essence of the vintage.

Tasting Notes: Marchesi di Barolo's Barolo presents a garnet red color with ruby reflections. Pronounced and persistent aromas reveal distinct traces of spices, cinnamon, absinth, tobacco, and wild rose. The palate is full and elegant, with soft tannins. Spicy notes and hints of wood blend seamlessly, making it an ideal match for traditional Langhe egg pasta, red meat dishes, stews, braised meats, game, sheep and goat’s milk, and mildly-aged cheeses.
