Chocolate Cantuccini Pan Ducale are a traditional italian crunchy cantuccini made with whole wheat flour and chocolate chips. Cantucci are traditional toasted biscuits that can be enjoyed all year round and are traditionally served to accompany an espresso, a cappuccino or a tea. They can also be enjoyed with Vinsanto and other dessert wines at the end of a meal. Pan Ducale has produced these biscuits following a traditional family recipe since 1966. They are baked in the shape of a French loaf then cut into thin slices and baked again until golden brown and crunchy.
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour 35%, raw cane sugar, dark chocolate 20% (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin, natural vanilla extract), fresh pasteurised eggs, butter, honey, salt, raising agent (ammonium bicarbonate), natural flavourings.
Contains eggs, gluten, milk and soya. May contain traces of nuts and sesame.
